Certification with PEFC
PEFC certification shows that forest and tree-based material has come from PEFC-certified forests or suppliers that have been assessed against applicable PEFC standards. Depending on the applicable PEFC claim, materials may also include recycled material and/or PEFC controlled sources. Certification is carried out by independent, accredited certification bodies against applicable PEFC-endorsed standards.
If you wish to demonstrate that your timber-based products comply with PEFC’s requirements, you can do this by obtaining third-party certification from one of our accredited certification bodies.
PEFC UK is currently able to offer four types of certification:
