Why we’re involved
Healthy buildings don’t start and end with design, the materials we choose matter.
Through our work with designers, specifiers, manufacturers and contractors, we see first-hand how challenging it can be to balance performance, cost and responsibility. When it comes to sourcing timber responsibly, PEFC certification exists to make that decision clearer and more confident. As the world’s largest forest certification system, with close to 300 million hectares of certified forest globally, specifying PEFC certification, helps ensure timber and wood-based products we use come from sustainably managed forests and responsibly controlled supply chains.
