PEFC UK is pleased to welcome Andrew Francis, Anna Gibson and Darren Shepherd as new members of its Board of Directors.
Together, they bring experience from across the timber, building products, print and membership sectors, strengthening the range of commercial and industry perspectives represented on the Board.
Andrew Francis
Andrew is Commercial Director at James Jones & Sons, where he is responsible for commercial strategy, market positioning and performance across the business.
He has held senior roles with Premier Forest Products and Norbord Europe (now West Fraser), giving him extensive knowledge of timber markets, supply chains and customer requirements. Andrew also brings experience in responsible sourcing, organisational change, stakeholder engagement and aligning commercial priorities with operational capability.
Anna Gibson
Anna is Product Manager at EGGER UK, leading its UK decorative products portfolio and working closely with commercial teams and Group Product Management.
Her experience covers product strategy, portfolio management, new product development, pricing and market analysis. She also brings a strong understanding of customer needs and the building products market, having previously held product management and customer-facing roles with RENOLIT.
Darren Shepherd
Darren is National Membership Development Director at the British Printing Industries Federation (BPIF), where he leads member engagement and retention activity across the UK.
He has longstanding experience within the printing industry and previously served as General Manager and Director of commercial printing company Jade Press. His background includes business leadership, regulatory guidance, member support, process improvement and the implementation of Chain of Custody and ISO management systems. Darren also holds the Institute of Directors Certificate and Diploma in Company Direction.
The new directors will support the Board in overseeing PEFC UK’s governance and strategic direction. Their combined knowledge, adding to that of the existing directors, will help PEFC UK continue to engage effectively with certificate holders, members and organisations using forest-based materials across a range of sectors.
